Uprise Art presents ‘Surface Tension’.
‘Surface Tension’ features recent works by Senem Oezdogan that focus on the seemingly invisible. Starting with landscapes, figures, and human emotions and actions, she questions and distills these objects into what she describes as ‘primary structures’. Her flat shapes are both referential and entirely removed from their environment, offering an idiomatic reality where presence and absence slide past one another effortlessly.
