Project Parlor presents Evan Beaumont’s debut solo show Work in Progress
Opening party Aug. 2
The next installation of the monthly gallery series at Bed Stuy bar and community event space Project Parlor will be “Work in Progress: A Solo Art Show” by La Native and Bed Stuy resident Evan Beaumont.
The works in the show draw influence from Beaumont’s experience and background in engineering, construction, drafting, & graffiti.
Beaumont’s interests span the spectrum from and focus on the intersection of street art and highbrow visual forms. His educational background is in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration of Aerospace Engineering. This background allows Beaumont to bring a unique realism to his works.
The show will be on display from Aug. 2 until September 6. The bar will be hosting an opening party on August 2 starting at 8 pm. Works from the show will be on sale directly from the artist.
