65th ANNUAL Sapphire Jubilee “ON THE FENCE” JURIED ART EXHIBITION
Brooklyn, NY –The Fulton Art Fair celebrates its 65th year at Robert Fulton Park in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The “ON THE FENCE” JURIED ART EXHIBITION is an outdoor six-day event designed to assemble visual artists who are seeking new ways to promote their artwork. Exhibiting artists include the renowned Otto Neals and Emmett Wigglesworth who have collectively exhibited at this event since 1958. They will be joined by Gloria Braxton, David Wilson, Brenda Mattingly, Okanbi Pound, Alethea Jimenez-Sapp, Clarence Moore Jr, Diane Grazette-Collins, Ruben Holder, Larry Weekes, Melvin Isaac, Willie Harley, Wilma Ward, Sadakisha Collier, Greg Duggins, Valerie Williams, and many others.
The opening weekend of this six-day event will begin on Saturday June 10th followed by Sunday June 11th. The remaining dates include Saturday June17th and Sunday June 18th followed by Saturday June 24th and Sunday June 25th. Exhibition Hours are Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5 pm.
This year’s events include live entertainment and art for children on Saturdays. All events are free and open to the public.

“Fulton Art Fair, Inc.” is a not-for-profit arts organization and is Brooklyn’s oldest Black visual arts event. It also holds the distinction of being one of the longest, continuing Black Arts group in the United States. The Fulton Art Fair was founded by local businesswoman, Shirley Hawkins. Its inaugural co-chairs were legendary artists Jacob Lawrence and Ernest Crichlow. Fulton Art Fair promotes visual, musical, and performing arts to be creative, evolve and be inspired by African, African American, Caribbean, Central and South American culture.

June 24th – 25th Exhibition Hours: Saturdays – 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sundays – 12:00 pm to 5 :00 pm
Venue: Robert Fulton Park, Harriet Ross Tubman Ave. (Fulton Street) and Schenectady Avenue.
