Vincent’s work is a reflection on mortality represented through his depiction of the Rose.
This repeating Rose motif is to be seen as a Memento Mori. Through painting, printmaking or sculpture Vincent creates a challenging experience that captures the viewer through abstraction. Presenting something thats visually fragile yet detrimental like the Rose.
Vincent Donato (b.1995) is a self taught contemporary artist based in Staten Island, NY.
This is his third solo pop up exhibition based in Williamsburg Brooklyn.
