Village Preservation Presents “Village Voices,” An Outdoor Interactive Exhibition Celebrating The Cultural Fabric Of Greenwich Village, The East Village And Noho

From September 13 to October 13, 2021 The Village Preservation is presenting “Village Voices,” an interactive outdoor exhibition of 21 shadowboxes displayed throughout New York City’s Greenwich Village, the East Village, and NoHo neighborhoods. Village residents John Leguizamo, Alec Baldwin, Edward Norton, Joel Grey, Norman Reedus, Kathleen Chalfant and other notable individuals have recorded insights about the neighborhoods’ trailblazers, all accessed via QR codes located at each installation. Charlie “Bird” Parker, Jackson Pollock, Jane Jacobs, James Baldwin, E.E. Cummings, Lorraine Hansberry and Patti Smith are among those celebrated.
