In the heart of Brooklyn, the pulse of big-city life can be felt in Cynthia Chatman’s stimulating solo exhibit – Urban Array.

For nearly two decades, Cynthia has been known throughout Brooklyn for her colorful cityscapes in oil. Now, she has added mixed-media collages to her body of work. Her use of spatters, layers of paint and fragmented images capture the vibrancy of the people, animals, traffic, buildings, even the eerie beauty of urban decay.

Five Myles invites you to its gallery space in beautiful Crown Heights for Urban Array’s opening reception on Saturday, October 20th at 5:00pm. Come and enjoy some refreshments. Admission is free. At 558 St. Johns Place between Franklin Avenue and Classon Avenue, FiveMyles is only two and a half blocks from the Franklin Avenue station, serviced by the 2, 3, and 4 trains; and the Franklin Ave. Shuttle at the Botanic Garden Station. The show will be on display from October 17th until the 24th.
