The Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition (BWAC) presents our SUMMER SHOW of our 40th Anniversary season, opening Saturday, July 28th, in our 25,000 square foot Gallery located in a rustic Civil War era warehouse at 481 Van Brunt Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Free admission to all, donations gratefully accepted.
Our 40th Anniversary BWAC Summer Show will be open to all on weekends from July 28 until August 19, 1-6 pm. Come and meet many of our nearly 300 artists and enjoy the musical presentations at our Opening Weekend Reception Saturday July 28th from 1:00-6:00 p.m and Sunday July 28th.
BWAC presents 5 exhibitions for Summer 2018:
Color My World, 10 large scale Grand Installations
COLOR, a National Juried Show
In The Groove an International Juried show of Album Cover Art
Good Neighbors of Park Slope – The Art Group, an exhibition of artists 50 and older from local Brooklyn communities
Summerscape, our Members Exhibition, in three parts:
Showcasing artists’ body of work through life and art
Artists’ concepts of Summer and summer visions
And, the Auction Wall, of Member’s work, to be auctioned on the closing day, August 19th

BWAC’s 25,000 sf Civil War-era gallery is located at a spectacular waterfront site overlooking the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor across from the Fairway supermarket and down the block from IKEA in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, set amidst Artist Studios, maker-places, galleries and trendy restaurants. BWAC Gallery is accessible by public transportation, NYC Ferry, IKEA Water Taxi and biking is a breeze!
Admission to the Gallery, The Red Hook Experience, the waterfront view, and all special events is free to everyone, donations gladly accepted.
BWAC was founded in 1978 to help artists – established and emerging –
make their work available to the public. BWAC is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization.

New York City Cultural Development Fund and Individual Donors,
BWAC provides a lively venue for metropolitan-area artists and art-lovers in every graphic medium.
