Sackler Center for Feminist Art. With recurring themes of concern and care, and encompassing the possibility of knowledge, freedom, and love, many of these artists add their timely and provocative political and gender-related commentary to the local art scene, promoting dialogue between audience and artist. Presented by the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition (BWAC), Brooklyn’s largest artist-run nonprofit arts organization, curated by Anatole Iwanczuk and Therese Urban. Opening reception Saturday, May 12, 1-6 pm, awards ceremony 3 pm.
