Small Works is an annual open call hosted by Trestle Gallery. The only qualification is that works are no larger than 12″ on their longest side.
Submission Guidelines:
– Pieces may be no bigger than 12″ on longest side
– You may submit up to 3 works for consideration
– Images must be in JPEG format, 1000 pixels on longest side
– CV and Statement must be submitted in PDF form

About Bill Carroll:
Presently the Director of the Studio Program of the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, Mr. Carroll has been involved with the New York art world for more than 25 years. In the 1980’s he worked for the Dia Art Foundation and The Brooklyn Museum. He was the Director of the Charles Cowles Gallery from 1987 to 1995 and the Elizabeth Harris Gallery from 1996 to 2005. Bill has curated numerous exhibitions with artists such as Mary Heilmann, Jonathan Lasker, Ken Price, Chris Martin, Marilyn Minter and Juan Usle. He received his BFA is from Pratt Institute, and after completing his MFA at Queens College in 2007, he taught a Professional Practice course to MFA students at Parsons the New School for Design. At the same time he was consulting for private clients and worked as the Grants Administrator for the Nancy Graves Foundation. He has lectured at NYFA, Bard College, Cranbrook Academy of Art, NYU, Pratt Institute, and SVA. Recently he has been exhibiting his own paintings and was reviewed in Art in America.
