Thursday, May 14, 7pm: The Gleaners and I – Director Agnès Varda deals with the issue of wealth and poverty in modern day France by exploring the world of people who search farmers’ fields for produce the mechanical harvesting equipment leaves behind. Saturday, May 16, 1- 4pm: Spice Trade Perfumes Workshop – Aromatherapist and Herbal Alchemy Apothecary founder, Julianne Zaleta, will lead this hands-on blending workshop exploring the fragrant spices, resins and balsams discovered by the early Spice Trade explorers of antiquity. Space very limited. Fee: $125 includes materials.
