The air is starting to chill. You’ve picked out your Halloween costume. That means it’s almost time for the 2018 Crown Heights Film Festival. We’re back with three nights and an afternoon of exciting, quirky, amusing, and poignant short films followed by a Q&A and cocktail party where you can mingle with the filmmakers and actors.
It all happens on October 18th, 19th, and 20th from 7PM until about 9:30PM. The matinee is on October 21st at 1:00PM. Come to as many screenings as you like; admission is free. We’re conveniently located at 558 St Johns Place between Classon Ave. and Franklin Ave. Take the 2, 3, 4, or 5 (the 5 on weekdays only) train to the Franklin Ave. station or the Franklin Ave. Shuttle to the Botanic Garden station. Whether you’re a movie maker looking to network or you simply love the moving image, this is a great neighborhood event.
