“With nearly five million registered voters, Los Angeles County represents the largest voting jurisdiction in the United States – and in an important position to address the pressing issue of voting accessibility. To revamp their existing system, which dates back to the 1960s, the LA County Registrar hired consultancy IDEO to reimagine their voting booth. The resulting prototype, designed in collaboration with Digital Foundry and Cambridge Consultants, is customizable, adaptable, and incorporates accessibility features to accomodate an evolving and diverse population of California voters.

On November 14, Dean Logan, LA County Registrar, and Matt Adams of IDEO will present their work on the prototype, an example of which will be on display through November 20.
