Another benefit to moving the gallery down to the ground floor this year is access to an intimate back garden.   Over the past few months, we have been placing sculpture among the plantings.   As with any garden, this space is constantly growing and changing with the seasons.  It will also change with new artwork.  We would like to celebrate this fall season with work by Janice Mauro, Howard Eisman and Alexandra Limpert.

Inside, the gallery will also continue to showcase Jacquelyn Schiffman‘s new series of Lutradur-based sculpture and paintings.  She has taken this latest series to another level by threading and forming floating figure-based pieces that fill the gallery space.

Terrific installations of sculpture at Figureworks!

Figureworks is located at 168 North 6th St., Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY 11211, one block from the Bedford Avenue “L” train. The gallery is open to the public Saturday and Sunday from 1-6 PM and is dedicated to exhibiting contemporary and 20th century fine art of the human form.
