Kayrock Gallery is pleased to announce Colors, a solo exhibition of works by Justin Hager. The exhibition will run from September 16th through October 14th , with an opening reception on September 16th from 7-10pm. Kayrock Gallery is located at 1205 Manhattan Ave Unit 1-4-1 on the 4th floor in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Justin Hager is a self-taught artist living and working in New York. His illustrations and paintings draw inspiration from his childhood and blends the concept of nostalgia with images and memories from pop culture. Hager has participated in solo and group shows in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, New Orleans, Denmark, England and Sweden.
The exhibition coincides with the release of Justin’s coloring book, Color Me Bad, published by Kayrock, and debuting at the NY Art Book Fair. His Fresh Print! Missy Elliott Smith will also be on display.
Founded in 1998 by Karl LaRocca (a.k.a. Kayrock), Kayrock is a Greenpoint-based screenprinting studio and gallery specializing in fine art editions, artists’ books and custom prints.
