IAMART*NYC launches the first two-day, family friendly art, food and music showcase including:
An Artisan Showcase: curated by Martin Galindo, the IAMART Experience will showcase contemporary artists including King Saladeen, Bk the Artist and Jay West. In addition to art installations the showcase will include live painting and The Young Picasso Award presentation. The award will be given to the top young artisans in Brooklyn. We’ve partnered with NYC Public Schools, inviting artists from grades K-8 to enter two dimensional artwork such as print, painting, photography or drawings. The 25 finalists will be judged by a panel of judges on Saturday, October 1st at 1:00 P.M. The winners will be recognized by their respective schools, communities as well as awarded a scholarship to attend a NYU digital art program in the summer of 2017.
In addition there will be other live performances and activities for all ages to enjoy.
