DENPA – The Abstract Landscapes

Born in 1983 in Okinawa Japan. Painter/Artist. His main focuses are morals, politics, technology and the problems in Okinawa.

The artworks are made by acrylic painting, collage, picture books and the other ways. So his artworks look like made by different artists but there are sustained messages and philosophies like “how we live our own life” on the backside of each artworks. He is also working towards spreading the joy of art for life with organizing some art events, group exhibitions, and he is also an exective manager of Stock Room Gallery that is producing clothing and other stuff, managing the gallery wall under the concept of street art.

He joined a group exhibition at Ouchi Gallery (Brooklyn,NY) in 2014, and will have a solo exhibition at the same gallery in 2016. He is starting his art career internationally.

Mami Ishibashi – “..whispers”

Mami Ishibashi is a Japanese female photographer who was born in 1987.

The time she stared photography is when she was a high school student in Tokyo. At very beginning, she started to take photos of her favorite soccer players at a stadium, but gradually she found interest at recording people’s daily lives, cultures, and natures.

After graduated high school, when she was 19 years old, since July 2007 – September 2009 she has been in Australia for studying and October 2009 – April 2010 in South Korea.The life in overseas brings her many surprises, and it naturally made her like to meet and know a lot of people who have different backgrounds. At the same time, she attracted in beautiful natures and cultures that actually make people’s backgrounds.

During the life in oversea, she more devoted herself into photography to record her life in there.

In March 2011, the huge earthquake and tsunami hit Japan. Because of the disaster, she starts to think that photography is not only for recording something for herself but also it have more big meanings when the pictures were shown to others.

From April 2015, she started her career of photographer, and now mainly take photos of families, couples, flowers, and landscapes of the road. She trying to take photographs that show any messages or foundable of someones lives.
