Transcultural Elements: Tenderloin Television Solo Exhibition | Superchief Gallery Brooklyn

Hail Mary_2

Superchief Gallery Brooklyn is proud to present “Transcultural Elements”, a solo exhibition of work by Tenderloin Television.

Most creations reflect on suffering and how to overcome obstacles in our daily struggles. Symbols of universal hope, hungry ghosts, meditation, Buddhist eightfold path and other eastern philosophies play a major role in the work. Mostly illustrated by ink and watercolor designs, outdoor murals, or hand crafted lightboxes. TLTV (Benjamin Clarke) has a BFA in Illustration, graduating from Pratt Institute in 2009.

He is currently making art for Mastodon. He also is in a book about the popularity of the “Bad Dad’s” show, an annual exhibition put on by Spoke Art in SF & NYC. It’s an artist tribute show to all Wes Anderson’s films

Tenderloin has exhibited work at Spoke Art, Cotton Candy Machine, Gauntlet Gallery, World Money Gallery, Stephanie Chefas Projects, Good Mother Gallery, White Walls, Giant Robot, Antler Gallery, Shooting Gallery, Prospect Park Zoo, One Grand Gallery, 111 Minna, La Luz De Jesus

Tenderloin will exhibiting his work on July 1 from 7-11 pm at Superchief Gallery, Brooklyn. The gallery is located at 66 Greenpoint Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222.
