Pretty Dark Girl is a one night exhibition exploring the themes of beauty, cultural standards, and skin tone. This exhibit is NOT RACE SPECIFIC. The exhibit’s concept ranges from skin tone to the cultural phenomenon of tanning in popular society.
Artists with personal experience or commentary on the above topics are encouraged to submit their portfolio of work. New works are preferred for this exhibit, but existing works will also be considered.
