When I started this blog back in 2008 I envisioned the site as a forum for publishing the work of local artists. Pretty early on I could see there was a need to post a calendar of events, and I’ve grown to appreciate the role this site can play in helping people get the word out. This process has changed shape over the years but it has always been managed through email. There’s so many great events going on in Brooklyn these days that I just can’t keep up! In an effort to streamline the publication of the event notices I’m switching to an online form.
The Event Submission form is now at the top of every page on this site. Just click the link and follow the instructions. I’ll still be editing the events that are published, submitting a form is not a guarantee that your event will be listed but I’ll do my best to accommodate everyone that posts following the guidelines.
