Friday, April 3rd from 6 – 8pm

Amos Eno Gallery is pleased to present 20’s Something, a solo exhibition of a new body of work by Turkish-born American artist Tulu Bayar. The exhibition will feature twelve large-scale archival pigment prints on silk. An opening reception for the artist will be held on Friday, April 3rd from 6 – 8pm at the gallery, suite 120 at The Loom, located at 1087 Flushing Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

The work is created in collaboration with millenials as subjects and reveals the artist’s observations of social truths beyond the common critique. As a critical reflection, the work examines the transitionary nature of a generation from childhood to adulthood by revealing the social status and cultural identities of young Americans in their 20s. This ongoing body of work reveals the artist’s commitment to collaborating and exploring with millenials, questions about identity, creativity, and what it means to come of age in the 21st century.
