Recession Art’s spring 2012 group exhibition, Everything is Index, Nothing is History opens Saturday June 2nd from 6-10 pm at the Invisible Dog Art Center (51 Bergen Street, Brooklyn) and will be on view through June 17th.

Everything is Index, Nothing is History is curated by Melanie Kress and Natalie Bell and features work from 19 emerging artists: Kate Bonner, Eric Carlson, J and James Carpenter, Courtney Chappell, Sarah Crofts, Lizzy De Vita, Shannon Finnegan, Ben Garthus, Max Glaser, Sam Keller, Yujin Lee, Antoine Lefebvre, Hudson Lines, Saul Melman, Peter Neu, Leah Raintree, Kameelah Janan Rasheed, Jordan Rathus, and Nancy Woods.
Recession Art will host a variety of special events throughout the exhibition, including a dart-making workshop and Pin-The-Tail-On-The-Invisible-Dog dart game with artist Ben Garthus, a live performance by artist Shannon Finnegan, and a film screening with artist Jordan Rathus.
