TABLA RASA GALLERY presents Radical Acceptance & Other Radical Acts

Tabla Rasa Gallery invites the public to join artist Clarity Haynes (www.clarityhaynes.com) for a portrait demonstration and brief discussion about the breast portrait project (www.bportraitproject.org) along with readings by author/playwright/ performer Tania Katan (www.taniakatan.com) and writer/poet/performer Cheryl B. (www.cherylb.com).

Tania Katan’s one-woman show, “Saving Tanias’ Privates” (www.savingtaniasprivates.com) plays at the NY Frigid Festival Feb 23rd through March 5th and is based on her memoir, “My One-Night Stand With Cancer”.

Cheryl B. is the co-founder/co-host of the popular New York City monthly reading series, Sideshow: The Queer Literary Carnival (www.queerliterarycarnival.com) She is currently writing the WTF Cancer Diaries (www.wtfcancerdiaries.com), her “cynical, dark humor take on chemo, Hodgkin’s lymphoma and the cantaloupe-sized tumor in my chest. WTF.”

The gallery is located at 224 48th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues in Brooklyn.
