The BAG Gallery is still seeking submissions for their upcoming show, “Process: Abstract Painters” on view from January 29 until February 12.
We invite artists to submit up to three finished pieces, along with the images, sketches, photographs, notes, and materials that helped them arrive there.
Submit a series. Photograph your work in various stages. Send in a sketchbook. Videotape yourself working. Show what brand of paint you use. Exhibit your notes. Let go of the idea of the ‘finished product’ and celebrate the evolution of the ideas themselves.
Our first Process show will focus on abstract painters. We will accept two-dimensional work of any size (three-dimensional and mixed media will have its own process show in the future).
