What is the Where? is a group exhibition responding to the relationship between location, identity, and perception. Organized by Recession Art and curated by Risa Shoup, What is the Where? features work by Louise Barry, Katrina Boemig, A. Bonnel, Heejung Cho, Stephen Eakin, Ryan Frank, Ian Addison Hall, Jess Levey, Elias Necol Melad, Lawrence Mesich, Evan Roberts, Patrick Serr, Katie Shelly, Celia Tobin, and Matt Woodward. Installations include memory maps suspended on balloons, miniature houses with their own exhibits, video monitors enclosed in air vents, graphite drawings of architectural relics, and a three-dimensional video projection about the cycle of rebirth.
