Great artist’s statement. This is going to have me thinking for a long time…

What is the impact of viewing an installation of 2,000 of these? Should I try it in my home?

I love these piees, Karen. There’s an emptiness, a melancholy, a loneliness in them. But there’s also something so serene and beautiful about them that it’s hard to take your eyes off them.

Thanks John. I like that lovely way of describing them- hmmm….maybe you could help me rewrite my artists statement?!
Colleen- I hope to finish the Personals project in the early fall. I only need about 15 more hours on it and then I hope to make the DVDs available.

I clicked through on Karen’s Web site and I’m really intrigued by the Personals project — that sounds like a great concept, and I’m impressed by the range of creativity she shows.
